Unnithan has held key positions in some of the most distinguished precision engineering companies, and has in-depth expertise in all aspects of gaskets design, development and manufacturing. He was instrumental in setting up India’s first R&D centre with engine test facilities for gasket testing.

In order to deliver outstanding products and services to our customers, SSSPL has a code of conduct which MUST be adhered to by all its employees. The code of conduct is based on personal and occupational health and safety.

At Sankar, we are committed to Personal Responsibility. Everyone is responsible for building and preserving the reputation and high standards of SSSPL. To achieve this, all employees must:

  • Maintain professional attire and be well presented always.
  • Maintain professional behaviour and attitude towards fellow employees and customers.
  • Comply with all reasonable, lawful instructions given by SSSPL related to work.
  • Not work under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs, or be in possession of alcohol or illegal drugs, while at work or in a client premises.
  • Refrain from any form of serious misconduct including (but not limited to) theft, fraud or other dishonesty in connection with work, the use of abusive language, and indecent behaviour.
  • Maintain discipline and not engage in fighting or disorderly conduct, or sexually harass other employees or members working for the organisation directly or indirectly.
  • Immediately inform SSSPL if charged with a criminal offence punishable by imprisonment or, if found guilty, that would significantly affect his/her ability to perform normal duties; (e.g. a charge of drink driving where the employee is required to drive a vehicle in the normal course of work).
  • Act honestly and with integrity in dealings on behalf of SSSPL.
  • Not act in a manner which could bring SSSPL into disrepute or any of its client.
  • Maintain confidentiality with information with regard to the company or that received from any client.
